April 2010 American Forestry Paper Association project --2020 Technology Alliance, open the “Forest Technology Roadmap 2010”, which is the first technical roadmap in 2006 since the continuation of the public. Most of the technical ideas in “Forest Industry Technology Roadmap 2006” have been adopted in actual production and are still in use today. However, due to the recent increase in environmental protection awareness, the pressure required to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and the increase in production capacity required by manufacturers In view of this, the American Forestry Paper Association in light of the current needs of the developed countries in the paper industry, in particular, opened the “Forestry Industry Technology Roadmap 2010” for the forest paper The further development of the industry to provide technical ideas support. Although the Forestry Industry Technology Roadmap 2010 is based on the current status of the developed regions in the paper industry, it is also of great reference to China, which is currently shifting from a “big paper power” to a “paper power”. The Forest Industry Technology Roadmap 2010 mainly discusses and lists: (1) effective reduction of carbon emissions and energy consumption in pulp and paper mills; (2) reduction of at least 50% of the water intake during the manufacturing process; (3) increase High-quality fiber and low-cost biomass supply; (4) increase the added value from the supply of high-quality fiber and low-cost biomass; (5) develop future new products; (6) improve waste wood and fiber product recycling. Six aspects should give priority to research and development of technology and ultimately to meet the process requirements. This issue will be published in the 17th and 19th issues of the 2010 edition of the Forest Industry Technology Roadmap 2010 with the hope that some paper colleagues who are struggling for the development of the Chinese paper industry will find some inspiration.
