Using the multi-time-frequency resolution characteristics of wavelet transform, the non-stationary signals such as seismic exploration and well logging signals are analyzed to make full use of the time-frequency characteristics of the signal. The paper introduces the basic concepts of wavelet transform and its application in the signal separation of time-varying filtering of seismic exploration signals and the signal of full-wave logging of acoustic waves. The example shows that wavelet transform has broad application prospect in geophysical signal processing. Figure 5 Reference 7
