在中国人民反抗日本法西斯侵略战争的艰苦岁月里,诺尔曼·白求恩同志怀着崇高的共产主义理想和无产阶级国际主义精神,远涉重洋,从加拿大来到中国解放区,参加中国共产党领导的敌后抗日游击战争,直到献出了自己的生命。白求恩同志逝世已经二十六年了,我们全党同志和全军指战员永远怀念着他。白求恩同志一九三八年初来到中国,同年四月到达延安,六月转到敌后抗日根据地——晋察冀边区。从那时起,他就同我们一起度过了将近两年的战斗生活,成为我们亲密的战友。
In the difficult years of the Chinese people’s campaign against the fascist war in Japan, Comrade Norman Bethune, with lofty communist ideals and proletarian internationalism, has traveled far and wide across the oceans, came to China’s liberated areas from Canada, participated in the enemy’s rear-anti-Japanese war led by the Chinese Communist Party Guerrilla war until sacrificed his own life. It has been 26 years for Comrade Bethune’s death, and our comrades throughout the party and officers and men of the whole army miss him forever. Comrade Bethune came to China in early 1938 and arrived in Yan’an in April the same year. In June he went to the border area of the Shanxi-Chahar-Hebei-Hebei anti-Japanese base area that was behind enemy lines. Since then, he has spent the past two years fighting with us and has become our close comrade in arms.
