11月6日,文化部常务副部长高占祥在主持梅兰芳金奖大赛(生角组)的评委会上,谈到将在明年举办的5项大活动。这5项活动是:一、年初,举办“中国京剧之星推荐演出”;二、5月,举办全国性少年儿童京剧大赛;三、4月,在上海为庆祝天蟾京剧中心建成,举办海内外名家、票友荟萃演出;四、9月举办梅兰芳金奖丑角、净角、老旦角大赛;五、12月,隆重举办梅兰芳、周信芳诞辰100周年纪念活动。高占祥说,明年应该是京剧丰收的一年,是京剧振兴初见成效的一年。明年的活动规模将不亚于1990年举办的纪念徽班晋京200周年活动的规模。高占祥谈到,明年的振兴京剧工作要抓精(精品),抓广(广泛开展活动),抓大(规模大),
