愛情是人類精神生活永恒的主題。不論古今中外,愛情自人類文明伊始便不可或缺,且越來越豐富地參與到人類的精神文明生活中。司馬相如與卓文君的愛情故事更以其載諸史集的真實性及故事的傳奇性,被後世廣爲傳唱。二人的愛情故事最早載於司馬遷的《史記·司馬相如列傳》,班固亦采入《漢書》,通過《西京雜記》、《華陽國志》、《文選》、《玉臺新詠》等一系列史傳雜記、文學選集的相關載録,使得司馬相如和卓文君的愛情故事在後世的流傳中不斷演變,情節更加豐富完整,成爲後世文學創作的基礎素材。不論是詩詞歌賦,
