Philip Wang, 36, is the manager of AST’s headquarters in the Asia Pacific region. He raised the company’s annual sales to 200 million U.S. dollars. The following is his management style of self-reporting: First of all, I like to dump opinions and find problems. I don’t like salespeople running into my office to report on what they have achieved. I always go to our sales department and ask: “What are some of the thorny issues that you have recently encountered?” Asking questions is one of the company’s flaws. The important way is that you can start your job well. Every customer’s complaint will be transmitted to my office.
