近两年来,各地报紙上个人署名的短文逐渐多起来了。这是一种新气象。这种短文,不同于一般评論,也不同于杂文,自有它的特点,所以姑以“短文”名之,以后如果有更合适的名字,当然可以更換。为什么說短文不同于一般評論呢?評論,一般是比較全面地論述工作中的問题的,无論是社論、評論員文章都有这个特点;当然,它也常常深入探討工作中的某一問题,但那多半是比較重大的、突出的問题。一般評論都是代表編輯部說話的,文章上面冠以社論、评論員等等字样,就标志了这个特点。短文呢,就不同了,它不是全面地論述工作中的問題,而是就工作中、思想上的某一个侧面,进行深入的探
