Study by Minneapolis Veterans Health Care System and University of Minnesota Minneapolis Dr Aasma Shaukat and colleagues found that colorectal cancer-related mortality was reduced in adults who underwent fecal occult blood tests for colorectal cancer screening 32% and the effect lasts for 30 years.
