石油污染,仍是目前水体污染的主要形式之一,特别在一些港湾、沿海和世界主要油运航道附近海域以及石油炼制、开采基地邻近水域,石油污染的严重性更显得突出,世界原油年产量现已达到3×10~9吨,估计有0.2％即约6×10~6吨原油流入海洋成为水体污染源。
