高校图书馆面向社会提供服务已经成为一种不可阻挡的潮流,但是我国高校图书馆在对外开放过程中面临着许多问题,其中包括:思想观念陈旧、经费不足、人流量加大和服务体系不完善等。为了推进高校图书馆社会化服务,可以通过突破旧的体制与观念,树立社会化服务理念;适当收费,提供有偿服务;加快高校联盟进程,促进社会化服务;建立健全高校图书馆服务体系等几个措施来实现该目标。高校图书馆开展社会化服务应结合自身实际情况,充分发挥自身潜能为社会提供服务。
