近年来,随着教师的社会地位不断提高,人们对教师的要求也就越来越高,因而教师形象问题便成为人们普遍议论的话题。有人认为:如今,教师形象仍然受着传统观念的束缚,清规戒律太多,缺少时代的朝气;也有人认为:教师就应该是与众不同的,无论怎样讲,这一奉献性职业都不能受环境因素的影响;还有人认为:时代不同了,教师怎么就不能在穿着打扮上漂亮一些?教师不仅可以化妆,而且还可以佩戴装饰品嘛!不能再用传统的方式约束教师,等等。究竟哪一种说法是正确的?是符合历史与社会发展需要的?这确实值得我们认真地分析和研究。为此,我们特别刊登了河北省石家庄市第二中学党总支书记王耀洲和教导主任张春琴两位同志的来信,目的是希望就教师形象问题进行广泛而深入的探讨。其实,教师形象问题不仅仅是仪表装饰这一个方面,还有诸如品德修养、业务水平、心理素质以及教师的多才多艺等多方面的内容。我们非常欢迎各地教师能就这一问题发表自己的看法,既可以从不同方面和不同角度进行阐述,也可以根据实际情况提出一些建设性的意见,以期得出一个值得普遍认可的结论来。我们热切地期待着大家的来信,并且将从中挑选出部分优秀稿件,陆续在《人民教育》杂志上刊登
In recent years, with the continuous improvement of the social status of teachers, the demand for teachers is also getting higher and higher. Therefore, the issue of teacher image has become a topic of general discussion. Some people think: Today, the teacher’s image is still subject to the traditional concept of restraint, too many rules and regulations, the lack of vitality of the times; some people think that: teachers should be different, no matter how to say, this dedicated occupation can not be affected by the environment Factors; Some people think: Times are different, how teachers can not be dressed in beautiful? Teachers can not only make-up, but also can wear ornaments it! Teachers can no longer be restrained in the traditional way, and so on. What kind of statement is correct? Is it in line with the needs of history and social development? This really deserves our careful analysis and research. To this end, we specially published letters from Wang Yaozhou, the party branch secretary of the No.2 Middle School in Shijiazhuang City, Hebei Province, and two comrades of the Teaching Director, Zhang Chunqin, in the hope of conducting a broad-ranging and in-depth discussion on the teacher’s image. In fact, the problem of teacher image is not only one aspect of instrument decoration, but also many aspects such as moral cultivation, professional level, psychological quality and teachers’ versatility. We very much welcome teachers from all over the world to express their views on this issue both from different aspects and from different perspectives. We can also put forward some constructive suggestions based on the actual situation in order to reach a conclusion that is universally accepted. We are eagerly looking forward to hearing from everyone and will select some outstanding manuscripts, one after another in the “People’s Education” magazine
