在实现教育现代化的背景下,多媒体教学作为一种现代教育技术的教学方式,越来越受到广大教师的重视和广泛运用。现代信息技术下的多媒体教学具有逼真感、新颖感、直观感等特点,它能提高学生对英语学习的兴趣,使他们能够真正成为学习的主人,从而主动地去学习;它也能搭建语言交际和运用的宽阔平台,使学生能“说”会“做”。所以在现代教学中,教师应学会掌握一些多媒体的运用技巧,让英语课堂散发生活味、时尚味、情感味、游戏味、创新味,来增添英语课堂的活力,使之成为沟通教学与英语课堂的桥梁。
