十年来,《电信条例》及其配套规章制度的贯彻实施,对规范电信市场竞争、维护电信用户合法权益、促进电信业快速健康发展发挥了重要作用。就江苏而言,这十年也是发展最快的时期,2000年电话用户总数仅为1755万户,到今年6月则已突破8000万户。可以说,在经历了电信业十年的大变革、大发展之后,《电信条例》在我国电信业发展进程中的里程碑地位已是毋庸置疑。
Over the past ten years, the “Telecommunication Regulations” and the implementation of its supporting rules and regulations have played an important role in regulating telecommunications market competition, safeguarding the legitimate rights and interests of telecom users and promoting the rapid and healthy development of telecommunications industry. As far as Jiangsu is concerned, this decade is also the period with the fastest development. In 2000, the total number of telephone subscribers was only 17.55 million, surpassing 80 million in June this year. It can be said that after a decade of great changes and tremendous development in the telecommunications industry, the “Telecommunications Regulations” have undoubtedly reached a milestone in the development of China’s telecommunications industry.
