害虫防治是今年争取农业较好收成中的一个重大问题。我在《文汇报》上曾发表“什么是防治害虫的有效途径”(载1961年8月17日)和“再谈防治害虫的有效途径”(1962年4月26日)两文,,认为化学与生物的“协调防治”是现今国内实际情况下能够应用的防治害虫的有效途径,是我们防治害虫的新方向。我们现在正在上海郊区就蔬菜害虫进行、这方面的田间实验工作,所以想就这个问题再发表—些不成熟的想法,同时希望各地植保工作同志给予我们研究工作提出宝贵意见及材料上的支援。
Pest control is a major issue for a better harvest this year. In “Wen Wei Po”, I published two articles, “What is an effective way to control pests” (contained in the article on August 17, 1961) and “an effective way to talk about pest control” (April 26, 1962) It is an effective way to control pests that can be applied under the actual conditions in our country nowadays and the “coordinated prevention and control” with living things is the new direction for pest control. We are now carrying out field experiments on vegetable pests in the suburbs of Shanghai. Therefore, we would like to re-publish some immature ideas on this issue. At the same time, we hope that all the plant protection comrades in the region will give their valuable advice and material support to our research work.
