Editorial comrades: Some comments on the article “Rapid Determination of Nitrate Nitrogen in Drinking Water” published in your first issue of this year. The paper did not test the degree of interference of chloride ions. The author did not specify the chloride ion content of the water sample nor did it give a “spiked” recovery of the water sample. discuss
