继山东省基本消灭丝虫病之后,贵州省也基本消灭了丝虫病。卫生部丝虫病考核组根据卫生部有关文件,由十四个省,自治区,直辖市和中国预防医学中心寄生虫病研究所抽调有关专业人员三十九人,分成四组,在贵州省,区、县的专业人员配合下,于八月二日至二十九日,考核了该省4个县27个大队。考核组在考核报告中认为。27个大队中,人群微丝蚴阳性率以大队为单位均在1%以下,(0～0.51%)其中有21个大队(占被考核大队的77.8%)未发现微丝蚴阳性,这一结果与贵州省近年来大面积考核资料相一致。考核组认为,全省已达到卫生部规定的基本消灭丝虫病的标准,建议卫生部予以确认。
