According to a recent survey by the California Institute of International Auto Economy, designers will pay more attention to the safety and environmental performance of automobiles than they did 10 years ago and regard it as an important guarantee for winning the market. The report outlines the measures and achievements made by some of the largest companies in the world in this regard. Japan’s Toyota Motor Corporation introduced the ASV (Advanced Safety Transport) program five years ago and has now achieved great results. The program includes the following: Monitoring driver’s focus on driving; Automatically assigning headlights to light and changing light; Driver navigation; Collision cushioning; Improved body design to allow passengers to leave quickly in case of emergency; Radio alarm ; Large-scale use of light green materials to save fuel consumption.
