邓小平同志是全党全军全国各族人民公认的卓越领导人,是伟大的马克思主义者,伟大的无产阶级革命家、政治家、军事家、外交家,是中国社会主义改革开放和现代化建设的总设计师,是邓小平理论的主要创立者,在党内外、国内外享有崇高的威望。 今年8月22日,是小平同志诞辰100周年。关于他的各种回忆、纪念文章和相关报道,已陆续见于报端。今天,我们隆重推出小平与奥运这两篇文章,深切地缅怀小平同志为中国发展和申办奥运所做出的重要贡献。 伟人已去,事业长存。我们纪念邓小平同志百年诞辰,学习他的光辉思想,缅怀他的丰功伟绩,最好的行动就是高举邓小平理论和“三个代表”重要思想伟大旗帜,坚定不移地推进中国特色社会主义事业胜利前进。
Comrade Deng Xiaoping is a recognized leader of the people of all nationalities throughout the country, a great Marxist, a great proletarian revolutionary, statesman, militarist and diplomat. It is a general leader of China’s socialist reform and opening up and modernization drive. Designer, is the main founder of Deng Xiaoping Theory, both inside and outside the party, enjoy a high prestige at home and abroad. August 22 this year, is the 100th anniversary of Comrade Xiaoping’s birth. Various memories of him, memorial articles and related reports have been found in newspapers. Today, we solemnly launch two articles, Xiaoping and the Olympics, and deeply cherish the memory of Comrade Xiaoping’s important contributions to China’s development and hosting of the Olympic Games. Great men have gone, career will survive. In commemorating the centenary of Comrade Deng Xiaoping’s birthday, studying his glorious thoughts and cherishing his great achievements, we have to hold aloft the great banner of Deng Xiaoping Theory and the important thinking of the ’Three Represents,’ and unswervingly push forward the victorious cause of socialism with Chinese characteristics.
