《农村经济与社会》(双月刊)是中国社会科学院农村发展研究所主办的公开发行的国家级研究农村经济与社会的理论刊物。为了满足从事农村问题研究的理论工作者和农村各层实际工作者等广大读者的需要,该刊自1995年1月更名为《中国农村观察》。更名后,在继续对农村经济与社会发展中一些重大问题进行理论探讨的同时,更加注重信息性、资料性、现实性,努力增加信息量,形式灵活,增强可读性,着重反映农村经济研究动态和进展;农村改革和发展的第一手材料;农村经济运行的信息,各地农村改革与发展的基本经验等。
The “Rural Economy and Society” (bimonthly) is a publicly-issued national-level theoretical publication on rural economy and society sponsored by the Rural Development Institute of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences. In order to meet the needs of a large audience of theoreticians engaged in research on rural issues and actual workers at all levels in rural areas, the journal has changed its name to “China’s Rural Observations” since January 1995. After changing its name, while continuing to conduct theoretical discussions on some major issues in rural economic and social development, more attention should be given to informational, informational and factuality, efforts should be made to increase the amount of information, form flexibility and readability, with emphasis on reflecting on rural economic research Dynamics and progress of rural areas; first-hand materials on rural reform and development; information on the operation of rural economy; and basic experiences of rural reform and development in various places.
