《读书》是学术性的,而学术总须关怀现实。报载,中国人均国民生产总值徘徊于世界倒数二十位,社会发展水平倒数四十八位,作为中国人,总觉不安。而日下出版、文化、教育事业受到经济的冲击,如果用实际价值和价格的比值来看,是日益贬值了。去年,赵一凡《哈佛读书札记》谈到美国早期文化政策,最近我自己也找了些书来读,得了许多有益之鉴。目前价值和价格的严重不符,对照历史教训,怕是要造成悲剧的。该大声
