黄宾虹(1865—1955)是二十世纪中国画坛上承前启后的大家,在山水画创作、金石学、美术史学、诗学、文字学、古籍整理出版等领域均有卓荦贡献。他一生以“三更灯火五更鸡”的精神不懈追求,张扬了中华民族的文化精神。 1953年,国家设立以黄宾虹为首任所长的中央美术学院民族美术研究所(现中国艺术研究院美术研究所),为新中国的美术学学科建设奠定了学术基石。 五十多年来,中国的美术事业已发生了翻天覆地的巨变,美术学学科不断发展壮大,出现了人才济济、硕果累累的可喜局面。回首往昔,黄宾虹等前辈筚路蓝缕之功尤令人感佩!为全面省视和总结百年来的中国画坛,弘扬中国传统文化精神,
Huang Binhong (1865-1955), a forerunner of the 20th century Chinese art scene, has made contributions to the fields of landscape painting, anthology, art historiography, poetics, philology, ancient books collation and publishing. Throughout his life, he has relentlessly pursued the spirit of “Three Bears the Light and Five More Chickens,” spreading the cultural spirit of the Chinese nation. In 1953, the State established the Central Academy of Fine Arts Institute of National Art (now the Institute of Fine Arts of China Academy of Art) headed by Huang Binhong as the first director, laying the academic foundation for the construction of fine arts discipline in New China. Over the past 50 years, the art industry in China has undergone tremendous earth-shaking changes. The discipline of fine arts continues to grow and develop, and the gratifying situation with abundant talents and fruitful results has emerged. Looking back, Huang Bin-hong and other predecessors are particularly admirable for their outstanding achievements.
