注重质量建设是邓小平新时期军队建设思想的核心。这一思想把建设具有中国特色的现代化、正规化革命军队作为我军建设的总目标,把提高战斗力作为军队建设的基本着眼点,强调在新的历史条件下,我军建设必须走有中国特色的精兵之路,必须按照现代和未来的客观要求依靠科技强军,全面加强军队质量建设。我们要用邓小平新时期军队建设思想武装头脑,必须深刻理解和把握邓小平关于加强军队质量建设理论的基本特征。
Emphasis on quality construction is the core of Deng Xiaoping thought in army building in the new period. This thought takes the building of a modern and regularized revolutionary army with Chinese characteristics as the general objective of our army’s construction and the enhancement of combat effectiveness as the basic focus of army building and emphasizes that in the new historical conditions our military must go with the Chinese characteristics Must strive to rely on science and technology to strengthen the army in accordance with the objective requirements of the present and in the future and comprehensively enhance the quality of the army. To arm our minds with Deng Xiaoping’s thinking on army building in the new era, we must profoundly understand and grasp Deng Xiaoping’s basic characteristics of strengthening the theory of army quality building.
