寿县位于江淮之间北部,地处淮南坡状起伏丘陵与淮北平原的过渡地带,属北亚热带北部半湿润气候,是安徽省重点产棉县之一.全县年种植棉花在10万亩左右,最多年份达20万亩以上.可是棉花单产很低,解放后38年平均为17.3公斤,最高的1986年也只有39公斤.单产增长速度缓慢,年递增率仅4%. 寿县棉花低产原因是多方面的,本文仅就气象因子进行讨论,试图找出规律性的东西,以指导今后的棉花生产.
