用于传动铣削渐开线等螺旋角指形铣刀螺旋槽的非圆齿轮设计,其依据是渐开线指形铣刀的刃口曲线方程。严格地讲,铣削过程中的种种工艺参数,如单角铣刀的外径、铣削中铣床台面搬转的角度、分度头的仰角等对设计非圆齿轮均有不同程度的影响,但实践证明这种影响与刃口曲线对非圆齿轮节曲线的影响相比是比较小的。因此,为了简化计算,我们只考虑刃口曲线和非圆齿轮节曲线的关系,而对一些次要的工艺因素加以忽略。
