现代性含义的多值性,内含着对现代性理解上某种先在的片面性倾向。五四新文化运动是中国现代史上的文化现代性选择“方案”。在这一现代性“方案”中,也先天地存在着“整体性反传统”的内在缺陷,“五四”学者对传统的激烈偏执性否定和后来的某种程度的反思、调整,表明了五四新文化运动的某种现代性悖论。
The multi-valued nature of modernity contains some kind of one-sided one-sided tendency towards the understanding of modernity. The May 4th New Culture Movement is a Choice of “Cultural Modernity” in the Modern History of China. In this modernity “program”, there are inherent defects inherent in “monolithic anti-tradition ”, “May 4th ” scholars denied the traditional fierce paranoia and later to some extent Reflections and adjustments show some paradox of modernity in the May Fourth New Culture Movement.
