脑膜炎常由传染微生物引起,但有多数非传染性原因,药物可引起急性和复发性脑膜炎。本文报道1例由甲氧苄啶-磺胺甲(口恶)唑(TMP-SMX)引起的无菌性脑膜炎3次发作。

Meningitis is often caused by infectious microorganisms, but for the most non-contagious causes, drugs can cause acute and recurrent meningitis. This article reports a case of three episodes of aseptic meningitis caused by trimethoprim-sulfamethoxazole (TMP-SMX).
