The lower reaches of the Changhua River Basin both sides, is a region with 11 different dialects, there are many different folk culture. With the development of modern civilized society, these dialects and folk-custom cultures are changing with the changes of social environment. The scope of use of dialects becomes smaller, the dialects are weakened, and the assimilation of the folklore is enhanced. Based on the perspectives of dialect and folk culture diversity, this paper puts forward some suggestions to maintain the diversity of folk culture in dialect.
