冷挤压是使金属毛坯在凸、凹模压力的作用下,金属产生塑性变形,从模具型腔中挤出零件的一种压力加工方法。按金属的流向可分为正挤压和反挤压。前者金属流向和凸模运动方向相同,一般分为实心件正挤压和空心件正挤压;后者金属流向和凸模的运动方向相反。实践证明,冷挤压成形的零件比切削零件质量好、效率高、节省材料。在省机械研究所协助下,江门汽油饥厂于74年3月开始试验气门挺杆冷挤压,先后进行了三次试挤,初步取得成功,并已投入小批生产。现将试验情况总结如下。
