张顺江世界著名学者、博士生导师、决策学创始人、学科带头人。中国科学技术大学研究生院教授,美国纽约大学客座教授。中国发展战略学研究会副会长、学术委员会主任。从事我国核工业工程理论研究、工程设计及指导施工达23年之久,为“两弹一星”做出了贡献。后转入社会科学领域的研究,创立了一门横跨自然科学、社会科学和思维科学的综合性大学科——决策学,著述达1500万字。1986年《决策学基础》被学术界评为中国决策名著、现代孙子兵法。译著《未来的冲击》。1982年开始倡导社会力量办学,先后培养决策管理人才达3万余人,1986年在武汉大学创办第一个决策管理科学研究所,1988年8月8日在北京发起并主持召开世界大系统决策模型国际学术研讨会,1989年与国外联合培养EMBA硕士研究生班,其中400余人获美国EMBA工商管理硕士学位证书。
