我年近古稀,论喜欢文学创作,差不多半个世纪了。诸种文学样式中,我特别钟情于短篇小说(包括小小说)创作,而且多是三五千字的小玩意儿,上万字的短篇小说很少。我的出生地为湖南的千年古城湘潭,斯地氤氲着浓郁的历史文化气氛,历代名人辈出;即便是大街小巷的寻常人物,生存和生活的诸多行状,无不打上鲜明的文化印记。耳闻目濡,我的短篇小说多以湘潭为背景,属于一种“原乡”意识的自觉。小说中的人物,多是闪烁着传统文化光辉的文人墨客、能工艺匠,
