Freiman等(1963)、Vaиciи等(1967)及Jacobs(1969)均注意到随年龄增高,铁的吸收量减少。Bezie(1963)与Burkhardt(1975)则证明老年人体内的贮存铁增多。然而,KeLLy与Munan(1977)及报告年长者血红蛋白浓度变化不大。为此,作者用双-同位素技术,观察“肠粘膜摄取铁”、“肠粘膜铁的转运值”、“体内铁的最后贮留量”及“红细胞摄取铁”等几项指标,研究老年人铁的吸收和利用。试验对象为25个健康青年人、40个年龄大的人及20个缺铁的病人,给予生理剂量的硫酸低铁以后,用全身扫描法测定铁的代谢过程。
Freiman et al. (1963), Vaиciи et al. (1967), and Jacobs (1969) noted that iron absorption decreased with age. Bezie (1963) and Burkhardt (1975) prove that iron storage in the elderly increases. However, KeLLy and Munan (1977) reported little change in hemoglobin concentrations in their elderly. For this reason, the authors used bis-isotope techniques to observe several indicators of “intestinal mucosal uptake of iron”, “intestinal mucosal iron transport value”, “the last storage of iron in the body” and “uptake of red blood cells” Iron absorption and utilization. The test subjects were 25 healthy young people, 40 older persons and 20 iron-deficient patients. After the physiological doses of low-sulfate iron were given, the body’s scanning method was used to determine the iron metabolism.
