地名标志工作是国家行政管理工作的一个组成部分,是经济建设中不可缺少的一项基础性工作。在改革开放不断深入,国民经济健康发展,城市建设日新月异的今天,地名标志设置是否健全合理,管理是否科学完善,直接影响着城市综合管理功能的提高和人民群众的日常生活。本文试以江苏省海门市地名工作开展情况为例,对县级市的地名标志工作作一些分析和探讨。
