经济全球化在不断强化,市场国际化也在相应地不断加深,为了能让土特产产品更好地进入国际市场,更具竞争力,高质量的英文说明书尤其重要。土特产产品说明书兼具信息性和诱导性的特点,功能目的论为说明书的翻译提供了更直接的指导作用。但是,由于语言失误或者社会文化背景的差异,土特产说明书的英文翻译常常会出现不同程度的语用失误。本文以徐州土特产英文说明书为语料进行例证分析,探讨语用失误的原因,并提出一些实用的翻译策略。
Economic globalization is constantly strengthening the internationalization of the market is also correspondingly deepening, in order to make native products better access to international markets, more competitive, high-quality English manual is particularly important. The instruction manual of native products is informative and inductive. Functional teleology provides a more direct guide for the translation of the manual. However, due to language errors or differences in socio-cultural backgrounds, English translations of native manuals often lead to different degrees of pragmatic failure. In this paper, Xuzhou native English manual as the corpus for example analysis to explore the reasons for pragmatic failure, and put forward some practical translation strategies.
