我国可锻铸铁铸造车间采用机械化浇注还是近年来的事,但都不很完善。主要原因是由于可锻铸铁具有特殊的工艺性:铁水含炭量、含硅量很低(炭2.3~2.6%,高硅1.7~1.9%,中硅1.1~1.4%)故铁水流动性很差;同时铸件壁较薄,易产生浇不足缺陷。因此在用冲天炉生产可缎铸铁的车间里,不管其机械化程度多高,其浇注方法往往还是手工的。因为手端浇包轻便灵活,能由前炉直接出铁水,并以最快的速度把铁水从前炉运到铸工输送器上进行浇注,从而保证了可锻铸铁所必需的出铁温度1400°~1420℃C和浇注温度1370°~1390℃。一般铸造车间机械化浇注都是采用单轨中间包的,铁水温度损失很大,造成大量浇不足的废品,如果以提高冲天炉出炉温度来弥补温度损
