国立故宫博物院现藏清代文献204大箱,其中大多数是中文的档案,但也有不少满洲文的材料。像实录、圣训、起居注、大臣和将军的奏章等等,从清初到清末,每代都有,收藏之丰,是目前中外各国任何满文资料中心所不及的。尤其是故宫博物院珍藏的《旧满洲档》,更是全世界仅有的瑰宝。这一套旧档多半是用古体满洲文写制的,成书的时间距今已有三百多年,是满洲文书档中最古老的作品。旧档里记载的全是满洲族人在入关以前所发生的大小事件,
National Palace Museum now houses 204 large boxes of Qing documents, most of which are Chinese files, but there are also many Manchu language materials. From the beginning of the Qing Dynasty to the end of the Qing Dynasty, each generation has its own collection of abundance, which is beyond the reach of any Manchu information centers in various countries at present.
