Founded in April 1988, Nanjing Hi-Tech Industrial Development Zone was jointly established by Jiangsu Provincial People’s Government and Nanjing Municipal People’s Government. In 1991 March by the State Council approved the first batch of national high-tech industry development zone. Nanjing Hi-Tech Industrial Development Zone is located in the Pukou District to the north of the Nanjing Yangtze River Bridge.
