This paper reports the discharge of summer water and inorganic salts from 69 high-temperature workers at three plants in Anshan Iron and Steel. The mean amount of sweating in the workers for 8 hours was 2.63-3.75L; the range of inorganic salt excretion was K323-433mg, Ng2,398-4,905mg, Ca37-78mg, Mg5-24mg, Fe759-1,432μg, Zn360-1,214 μg and Cu57-130μg respectively. The results showed that the excretion of K, Na, Fe, Zn and Cu with sweat was much higher than that of urine, which indicated that the content of some inorganic salts in serum of workers in high temperature was lower , Possibly due to the large amount of excretion with sweat. This survey provides a basis for the development of high temperature workers drink mineral salt supplement.
