本文将林纾的前期翻译活动置于时代社会、历史和文化话语场中进行考察。其早期翻译活动正处于1900年前后十年,是国家危机最深重之时,正值强国、强族等国家民族话语上演最热烈之际,也是翻译活动和文化出版活动最繁盛的时期。在此特别时期话语场的影响下,这一时期林译中的政治目的更鲜明,话语策略更典型,影响也更大。
This article will Lin Shu’s pre-translation activities placed in the social, historical and cultural discourse field to conduct an investigation. Its early translation activities are in the period of about ten years from 1900 to 1900. It is the warmest moment of the country when the crisis deepens. It is also the time when translations and cultural publishing activities are most prosperous. Under the influence of discourse field in this special period, the political purpose of Lin’s translation in this period is more distinct, the discourse strategy is more typical and the impact is greater.
