辉煌的过去、真实的现在和美好的将来 圣马丁艺术设计学院是英国最大的艺术设计专门学院。学院始建于1989年,由英国最知名的两所艺术学院圣马丁艺术学院和中央艺术设计学院合并而成。 圣马丁艺术学院和中央艺术学院分别建立于1854年和1898,它们对英国二十世纪的艺术设计发展一直起着重要的作用。学院从过去到现在的教员和学生中不乏世界知名的艺术家和设计师,如Eric Gill,May Morris,Eduardo Paolozzi,Gilbert & George等;不仅如此,学院历届的优秀毕业生对改善人类的视觉环境和交往方式也起着良好的作用。
Brilliant past, real present and beautiful future St. Martin’s School of Art and Design is the largest art and design college in the UK. Founded in 1989, the college is amalgamated by two art schools in the United Kingdom, the St Martin Art Institute and the Central Academy of Art and Design. St Martins Institute of Art and Central Academy of Art were established in 1854 and 1898, respectively, and they played an important role in the development of British art and design in the 20th century. There are many world-renowned artists and designers from past to present, such as Eric Gill, May Morris, Eduardo Paolozzi, Gilbert & George, etc. Not only that, Communication also plays a good role.
