INTRODUCTION In recent years, some special toothed gears or threads (such as Cavex worm gears, WN gears and helical pressure rollers) have tended to increase due to their superior performance applications. In order to play their performance, these gears or threads should be precisely machined. Therefore, the tools used to machine these gears or threads (such as hobs) should also be precise.
