中国电信近日宣布 ,中美海底光缆南段工程近日全面完工 ,并通过了验收。新建成的中美海底光缆南段 ,使原来中美之间通信传输能力提高了一倍 ,达到 1 60Ｇ ,这大大缓解了此段光缆的压力。届时 ,中美海底光缆将实现自动复原功能 ,再也不会因为缆线断裂或年久失修而造成网络大塞车
China Telecom recently announced that the southern section of the Sino-US undersea fiber optic cable project has been fully completed recently and passed the acceptance. The newly-built Sino-US undersea fiber optic cable southern segment has doubled the capacity of the original Sino-U.S. Communications transmission to 160G, which has greatly alleviated the pressure on this segment of fiber-optic cable. By then, Sino-US submarine optical cable will be able to automatically restore function, no longer because of cable breakage or disrepair and cause network traffic congestion
