江泽民同志在全国思想政治工作会议上强调指出,思想政治工作要“增强时代感”。这是对新时期思想政治工作特点的概括,同时也是对思想政治工作者的要求。思想政治工作者必须认清时代特征,把握时代脉搏,顺应时代潮流,在实践中不断创新,增强新时期思想政治工作的针对性和实效性。 一、认清时代特征。增强“三个意识”。 认清时代特征是增强思想政治工作时代感的前提。当今世界正在发生深刻而复杂的变化,出现了许多新情况、新特点。我国当前正处于改革的攻坚阶段,发展的关键时期。社会各领域都发生了深刻的变化。特别是随着社会主义市场经济的加快发展,个人的生活方式、行为方式、思维方式和价值实现方式的转变愈加明显。面对社会变革,许多人能够投入这一转变过程中去,但也有相当一部分人未能较快较好地适应这一转变,故而在思想、认识、信仰和行为上产生一些迷惘和困惑,给社会带来一些消极影响。思想政治工作者必须站在时代的制高点,审时度势,总揽全局,把握时代特征,自觉树立“三个意识”。

Especially with the accelerated development of the socialist market economy, the changes in the way of life, behavior, way of thinking and way of realizing value are even more obvious. In the face of social change, many people are able to devote themselves into this process of change. However, quite a few people have not been able to adapt to the change relatively quickly and therefore have some confusion and confusion in their thinking, understanding, beliefs and behaviors. The society has some negative effects. Ideological and political workers must stand on the commanding height of the times, review their situation, take overall control of the situation, grasp the characteristics of the times and consciously establish the “three awareness.”
