林风眠先生著名油画《赏花图》,由我的挚友“雨夜楼”主人洪强先生收藏。这幅画是林风眠先生在50年代用中国画的传统技法赏试用西洋画的表现手法而创作的。 林风眠先生是中国“现代绘画之父”,东方文艺复兴的先驱者。他16岁赴法国巴黎学习西方艺术,1925年学成归国,被蔡元培先生推荐为北平国立艺专(中央美院的前身)校长,1927年林风眠先生又受蔡元培先生委托到杭州创办国立艺术院(即今天的中国美院),先后任校长达10年。1952年林风眠先生移居上海。
Mr. Lin Fengmian’s famous oil painting “Flower View” was collected by Mr. Hong Qiang, my best friend, “Rainy Night House”. This painting was created by Lin Fengmian in his performance of Western painting in the 1950s with the traditional techniques of Chinese painting. Lin Fengmian is the “father of modern painting” in China, a pioneer of the Eastern Renaissance. At the age of 16, he went to Paris, France to study Western art and returned to China in 1925. He was recommended by Mr. Cai Yuanpei as the headmaster of Peking National Arts Academy (predecessor of the Central Academy of Fine Arts). In 1927, Mr. Lin Fengmian was commissioned by Mr. Cai Yuanpei to set up the National Art Institute (Today’s China Academy of Art), has served as president for 10 years. In 1952, Mr. Lin Fengmian emigrated to Shanghai.
