2002年以来,上钢新村街道深入开展“红润”系列社会主义核心价值体系宣传教育活动,坚持挖掘身边最生动、最鲜活、最直接的典型事迹来教育居民、引导居民。“红润”工程已被评为浦东新区基层党建工作品牌。每周三的下午,坐落在历城路上的上钢“红色礼堂”里总会传出《红旗颂》的音乐,而之后,一曲曲《学习雷锋好榜样》、《阳光路上》、《唱支山歌给党听》等多首脍炙人口的红歌也会由在场的人们齐声高唱出来。原来,这是上钢社区的党员们固定每周一次的党员活动日。
