竹棚精神 传世之宝 1978年,原国家体委在漳州召开的全国排球训练工作会议上,充分肯定了几年来集训大会战是提高排球竞技水平的好形式,并提出仅有一个漳州基地已不能满足我国排球运动发展的需要。会上湖南省代表提出把郴州作为排球基地。会后郴州体委主任唐见奎主动到原国家体委请缨受到支持,在郴州建排球基地的事情也就敲定了。
