乳山市金矿日采选能力２００ｔ多，１９９５年入选矿石量仅７．７６万ｔ，而入选矿石品位却高达１７．９ｇ／ｔ，产金１３２８６．８ｋｇ，创利税达８４００多万元。这是座了不起的罕见的黄金矿山。备足地质资源，狠抓技术改造，锐意改革进取，强化内部管理，分配倾斜一线，改善生活环境，始终不渝地走科技兴矿的道路。这些是该矿兴旺发达不断腾飞的经验，其中也凝聚着乳山市金矿矿长徐洋洲同志及矿领导班子们的血汗、辛劳、胆识与智慧。
