爱国是社会主义核心价值观从个人层面对公民提出的一个基本要求。爱国,具体应该爱什么呢?从一般意义上说,国家包含着三大相互依存的要素:以土地山川为基础的空间实体、以共同历史和血缘联系为基础的社会群体、以思想文化和典章制度为基础的精神文化实体。这三大要素与人们的工作生活息息相关,爱国的含义也因此具体而切身。爱国就要爱国家的领土。领土是国之为国的根本,是国民生存生活的物质依托。一旦失去领土,国民便失去了生存繁衍的基本条件。爱国就要爱国家的每一寸土地,保护国家领
Patriotism is a basic requirement of citizens on the socialist core values from an individual level. In a general sense, the state embraces three major interdependent elements: a spatial entity based on land and mountains and rivers, a social group based on common history and blood ties, ideology and culture Institutional as a spiritual and cultural entity. These three elements and people’s work and life are closely related to the meaning of patriotism and therefore specific and personal. Patriotic will love the country’s territory. Territory is the foundation of the country as a nation and the material support of the people’s livelihood.
