On March 31, 2017, the International Cooperation Bureau of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences and the World Socialism Research Center of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences jointly held a symposium on ’One Belt One Road and Cooperation and Win-Win’. Wang Lei, director of the International Cooperation Bureau of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, presided over the seminar. He pointed out that the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences should give full play to the unique advantages of regional research and academic research under one roof. The Academy of Social Sciences has two ends, one is the extensive domestic connection and the other is the extensive linkages with foreign countries. We have the necessary conditions to understand both the central government’s intention and the direction of major policies, as well as to grasp the actual situation on the ground
