In July 2015, Osaka University announced that the pulse width of 1 picosecond (10-12 seconds) and 2 watts of peak power (2 × 1015 watts) were achieved using the “Fast Fire Test Laser Device” (LFEX) 2 kJ laser output. High-energy pulse watt pulsed lasers can be used to rapidly heat fusion target pellets (the concept of “quick fire”) and are one of the important physical solutions for achieving inertial confinement fusion ignition. There are only a few laser infrastructure in the world that deliver Watt-class power output. This laser provides high temperature and high pressure conditions that simulate nuclear fusion. Since the laser pulse time is only picosecond, there is no persistence, and the volume of the device
