在闭式单、双点机械压力机中,目前已有不少设备上用采了压塌式超负荷保险装置,如图1所示。此装置虽然结构简单,但压塌块是由45、50钢或HT20—40铸铁制成的。制造周期较长,而且在决定加工尺寸前必须还得进行剪切试验。在没有材料试验机的单位就产生了麻烦。尤其是在用机械压力机进行整形或校正、弯曲工序时,比较容易过载,压塌块更容易破坏。因此经常有停产情况发生。有些单位为了保护压塌块不致破坏,冲裁时不敢使用压力机的公称压力,压型时只好在模具间保持很大间隙,这就容易造成成形量不够,严重的影响到产品
